Are these original perfumes?

Yes. We sell original FAAN bottles. No copies, no imitations.

Who is behind Faan Perfumes?

We are an independent retailer of FAAN fragrances, run by FragranceGems B.V. in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands. Faan Perfumes is not affiliated with or endorsed by FAAN.

How long does delivery take in the Netherlands?

We process your order in 1 to 2 working days. Transport takes another 2 to 4 working days. In total that is 3 to 6 working days.

How long does delivery take in the rest of the EU?

We process your order in 2 to 3 working days. Transport takes another 3 to 5 working days. In total that is 5 to 8 working days. Pickup-point delivery can take a little longer than home delivery.

What does shipping cost?

The price depends on your country and the shipping method you choose. You see the exact amount at checkout before you pay. Within the Netherlands shipping costs 6.35 euro, and it is free from 75 euro. Outside the Netherlands shipping is never free. The shipping and returns page lists the rate for every country.

Can I return a bottle?

Yes. You have 14 days to withdraw from your purchase, without giving a reason. A bottle can be returned as long as its seal is intact. Once the seal is broken after delivery, the right of withdrawal ends, because perfume is applied to the skin. All the details are on the shipping and returns page and in our refund policy.

How do I pay?

Payment is handled at checkout. The payment methods you can use are shown there, before you confirm your order.

What size are the bottles?

Every bottle is 200 ml. That is a large bottle, made for daily use over a long stretch.

What is the difference between Eau de Parfum and Extrait de Parfum?

Extrait de Parfum has a higher concentration of perfume oil than Eau de Parfum. In general that means a richer, denser scent that stays on longer. The concentration of each bottle is shown on its product page.

How should I store my perfume?

Keep it cool and dark, with the cap on. Avoid direct sunlight, heat and damp rooms such as the bathroom. Stored well, a bottle keeps its character much longer.

How do I choose between Qasida and Amjad?

Qasida is the wider line: nine bottles, from soft and bright to sweet, gourmand and smoky. Amjad is the deeper line: five bottles with saffron, rose, incense, oud and amber, mostly as Extrait de Parfum. If you want an easy daily scent, start with Qasida. If you want something with more weight, start with Amjad. Browse Qasida or Amjad.
