Amjad Kingdom carries the unisex tag on its product page, and nothing in the pyramid says otherwise. There is no leather, no heavy oud, no cherry and no candy. It is an amber and resin scent with a powdery violet in the middle.

What the notes say, not the label

• Top: ambrette, elemi, vetiver, hibiscus. Quiet and cool. Hibiscus is the only flower, and it is tart, not sweet.
• Heart: styrax, violet, amber, benzoin. Violet is the powdery, slightly sweet thread. Styrax and benzoin give it warmth and a little smoke.
• Base: labdanum, ambergris, musk, amber xtreme. Warm resin and skin-like musk. This is the long part.

On her, the violet tends to come forward and the scent reads soft and powdery. On others the resin leads and it reads darker. Both are the same bottle, so test it on your own skin.

How to wear it as her: sprays and placement

• Start with two sprays: one on the chest, one at the base of the neck.
• Add a third on a scarf or a coat collar only on cold days.
• For a softer feel, spray the back of the neck rather than the front. The scent rises behind you instead of arriving before you.
