About this fragrance
Qasida Al-Badr is dry, spicy and a little powdery. You smell bergamot, nutmeg and iris, then vetiver and vanilla. Wear it to the office or in the cooler months. The strength is medium and it stays close to the skin. It suits people who like calm, woody scents.
Al-Badr is Arabic for the full moon. It is a calm scent for day and night. It is dry, spicy and a little powdery, never loud.
Bergamot, nutmeg and cardamom open it with a clean, bright spice. In the heart, iris adds a soft powdery layer, while sage and cedarwood keep it herbal and dry. The base is vetiver and patchouli, rounded by tonka and a little vanilla. The sweetness stays in the background and only softens the earthy notes.
It is one of the easier fragrances in the Qasida line to wear. It suits the office, a good shirt and the cooler months from autumn through spring. Because it sits close to the skin and stays calm, it is a good pick if you want a scent that is not loud.
Qasida is the name of this FAAN line. It is Arabic for a classical poem. Faan Perfumes is an independent retailer of FAAN fragrances, and you receive the original 200 ml Eau de Parfum bottle.
