About this fragrance
Qasida Bakhour smells of smoke, saffron and leather, with vanilla at the end. Wear it in autumn and winter, in the evening. The strength is strong and it lasts well. It suits people who already like incense and leather, and both men and women wear it.
Bakhour is named after bakhoor, the incense burned in many homes across the Middle East. This fragrance has the same smoky, resinous character.
Saffron, clove and blackcurrant open it with dark spice and a hint of sharp fruit. In the heart, rose and violet meet incense and tonka, so the flowers have a smoky edge. The base is sandalwood and cistus with leather and vanilla. It is smooth, resinous and a little leathery, and it settles in as the hours go by.
Wear it in autumn and winter, in the evening or at a special occasion. It suits men and women, and it holds its own against a heavy coat. If you already enjoy incense and leather, this will feel familiar. If you do not, it is a good way to find out.
Qasida is the name of this FAAN line. It is Arabic for a classical poem. It comes as an original 200 ml Eau de Parfum from Faan Perfumes, an independent retailer of FAAN fragrances.
