Perfume has no rules about who wears what, and this page does not pretend otherwise. We use the audience field from the product pages: for her, for him or unisex. Two bottles carry the label for her:

• Qasida Senses: pear, jasmine, raspberry, peony, bourbon vanilla and white musk. Eau de Parfum, projection and longevity 3 out of 5, spring and summer.
• Qasida Queen: cherry, clove, orange blossom, jasmine, vanilla, amber and coffee. Eau de Parfum, projection and longevity 4 out of 5, autumn and winter.

Everything else is unisex, except Qasida Sahm, which is written for him. That means the unisex bottles are not a compromise. They are simply scents that the makers did not label.

Soft and floral

• Senses: the lightest and most fruity-floral. Good for daily wear and evenings in warm weather.
• Qasida Purity: pear, ylang-ylang, Sambac jasmine and tuberose over cashmere musk. Creamy and quiet, projection 2 out of 5. Spring and autumn, daily wear and office.
• Amjad Coral: fresh pear and orange blossom over cedar and musk. Not flowery, but clean and soft. One of our best sellers.

Warm and gourmand

• Queen: dark cherry, coffee, vanilla. Made for date nights.
• Qasida Signature: praline, almond, cinnamon and vanilla. Listed unisex, for autumn and winter, evenings and special occasions.

Resinous and bold

A two-bottle year

If you want a small wardrobe, two bottles cover the year. Take one for April to September: Senses, Coral or Purity. Take one for October to March: Queen, Signature or Mystery. Coral and Mystery together cost 99.98 euros, and shipping in the Netherlands is free from 75 euros. Because every bottle is 200 ml, even two will last a long time.

Wear the light one with three or four sprays and the Extrait with two. Put one on clothes, since fabric keeps scent longest.

Which FAAN perfume is best for women?

There is no single answer. For a soft floral choose Senses or Purity. For something sweet and dark choose Queen. For something warm and easy choose Signature.

Are the unisex bottles too masculine?

The label says unisex, and the notes in the soft and gourmand groups are floral, fruity or sweet. Test any scent on paper first if you are unsure.

What if a bottle is sold out?

Ask to be notified on the product page. Orders take 3 to 6 working days in the Netherlands and 5 to 8 working days in the rest of the EU.
