The accords are fresh, citrus, woody and musky. Notice what is missing: no resin, no oud, no vanilla. Most of the Amjad line leans on exactly those. Coral does not, and that is the point of it.

How it opens, settles and ends

The first minute is the brightest. Pear and mandarin smell juicy rather than sweet, bergamot adds a bitter peel edge, and ginger gives a small tingle in the nose. Citrus leaves first, so do not decide on this minute alone.

Then the heart arrives. Orange blossom is a clean white flower with a slightly soapy, green edge. Georgywood is a modern woody material, dry with a trace of amber. Together they stop the pear from turning into fruit salad and make it smell more like fresh laundry on warm skin.

The base is what makes Coral wearable on a shirt. Ambrofix is a modern amber-woody material, dry and faintly salty. Akigalawood adds a woody, lightly peppery note, and cedar smells like pencil shavings. By the end you are left with dry wood and a soft musk, and nothing sweet.

Strength: projection 3/5, longevity 3/5

Both ratings sit in the middle. It is an Extrait, but concentration does not set the volume on its own. Light citrus and pear leave first, and that is why Coral is gentler than its label suggests. Expect a few hours of clear scent and a quiet trace after that, longer on fabric than on skin.

Two or three sprays do the job: one at the back of the neck, one on the chest, one on a shirt. Compare that with Amjad Honour, which is rated 4 for projection and 5 for longevity and needs fewer sprays than you think.

Spring and summer: when it works

Coral is the only bottle in the Amjad line listed for spring and summer, and the listed moments are daily wear and the office. That fits what you smell. It is happy on a warm commute, at a desk in a shared room and at a lunch on a terrace.

You will probably like it if you want clean, citrus and woody, if you share an office, or if you like a perfume people notice only when they stand close.
