Perfume delivery to Belgium: carriers, costs and pickup points

Delivery time: 5 to 8 working days

We process an order to Belgium in 2 to 3 working days. Transport then takes 3 to 5 working days. The total is 5 to 8 working days. Belgian parcels travel a short way, but the promise stays 5 to 8 working days, so plan with that number. Pickup-point delivery can run a little slower than home delivery, and public holidays and busy weeks add time.

Three delivery options and their prices

The gap between the cheapest and the dearest is €1.85. Here is what that means for a bottle. Amjad Honour at €44.99 arrives at €51.84 with the pickup point, €52.98 with home delivery and €53.69 with PostNL. Amjad Coral lands on the same totals. Qasida Signature, at €54.99, comes to €61.84, €62.98 or €63.69. The exact options for your address are shown at checkout before you pay. Perfume contains alcohol, so carriers treat it as a flammable liquid, and that is why not every method is offered at every address.

A bigger basket

Two bottles do not change the rule: shipping to Belgium is never free. Honour and Coral together come to €89.98 and arrive at €96.83 with the pickup point, €97.97 with home delivery or €98.68 with PostNL. The free-shipping threshold of €75 is a Dutch rule, so it only helps if the parcel goes to an address in the Netherlands, for example a friend's or a family member's. Buying more bottles per order simply spreads the shipping cost over more perfume.

Pickup points versus home delivery

The pickup point is the lowest price and works if the parcel would otherwise wait in your hallway while you are at work. It excludes DHL points. Home delivery costs €1.14 more and gets the parcel to your door, through one of GLS, FedEx or Bpost. PostNL Belgium is the dearest, and it makes sense only if you prefer that carrier. For a first order, most people take the pickup point to save the money, or home delivery for convenience.

Tracking

Look for a tracking link in the dispatch email. The carrier provides one where it can. If it is missing, or the tracker does not move, write to info@faanperfumes.eu with your order number. Pickup points keep a parcel for a limited time, and the carrier sets that time, so collect it soon after the notice arrives.

Returns from Belgium

You may withdraw within 14 days of receiving the order, without a reason, as long as the bottle is still sealed, since perfume goes on the skin. Tell us by email with your order number, then post the bottle back to FragranceGems B.V. in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands, within 14 days. You pay for the return, unless the bottle is defective or we sent the wrong one. A tracked service is a sensible choice. The details are on our shipping and returns page. To compare Belgium with other countries, see the full delivery table. You can browse all FAAN perfumes. If a bottle shows as sold out, ask to be notified on the product page.
