Perfume delivery times in Europe: shipping costs by country, the full FAAN table

How delivery times are counted

Working days exclude weekends and public holidays. We count two steps. Processing is the time we need to prepare your order before it goes to the carrier. Transport starts when the parcel is handed over. For the Netherlands that is 1 to 2 plus 2 to 4 working days, 3 to 6 in total. For every other EU country it is 2 to 3 plus 3 to 5, 5 to 8 in total. These are estimates for normal circumstances, and pickup-point delivery can be a little slower than home delivery.

Shipping prices by country

The table lists every active shipping method. Where a country has more than one option, you choose at checkout. Home delivery is by GLS and FedEx in most countries, with Bpost in Belgium, DHL in Germany and France, PostNL in Belgium, and Mondial Relay for pickup points in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg and Poland.

The Netherlands: the only free-shipping country

In the Netherlands, shipping is €6.35 up to €74.99 and free from €75. A single FAAN bottle costs between €44.99 and €56.99, so two bottles are what clear the line: Amjad Honour and Amjad Coral together come to €89.98 and ship free. The detail is in our article on delivery in the Netherlands. Everywhere else shipping is never free.

Why prices differ

We list the rate for each method and country, and the amount you pay is shown at checkout before you confirm. We do not break down each carrier rate, but one rule from our shipping policy explains why the list is not uniform: perfume contains alcohol, so carriers treat it as a flammable liquid, and transport rules differ per country and carrier. That is why some options may not be available at your address. The pattern in the table is plain: neighbours and large western markets sit at the bottom, and countries far from the Netherlands, such as Bulgaria, Finland and Greece, at the top.

A rough guide in bands:

• €6.35 to €8.40: Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain.
• €11.50: Poland (pickup point).
• €15.00: Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia.
• €17.50: Croatia, Hungary, Romania.
• €19.99 to €20.00: Estonia, Ireland, Latvia, Sweden.
• €22.00: Bulgaria, Finland, Greece.

Germany and Belgium have their own articles with the carrier detail: delivery to Germany and delivery to Belgium.

Tracking and pickup points

Where the carrier supports it, your dispatch confirmation email contains a tracking link. If it is missing, email us with your order number. In France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Luxembourg the Mondial Relay pickup option is marked at checkout as slower, and you select your point after payment. The home delivery option there is marked as recommended and fastest. In Poland the pickup point is also selected after payment. If a bottle shows as sold out, ask to be notified on the product page. You can browse all FAAN perfumes, or open the Qasida collection guide for the larger line.
