Perfume delivery in the Netherlands: times, costs and free shipping from 75 euros

Delivery time: 3 to 6 working days

We process every order in 1 to 2 working days before it goes to the carrier. Transport then takes another 2 to 4 working days. That adds up to 3 to 6 working days. Pickup-point delivery can take a little longer than home delivery. These are estimates for normal circumstances. Public holidays, busy periods and delays at the carrier can add time. If you are ordering for a date, build in a few days of margin. Our gift guide suggests ordering at least two weeks ahead for birthdays.

Two examples with real dates

Working days leave out weekends, so a calendar helps.

• You order on a Monday. With 3 to 6 working days in total, it arrives between that Thursday and the Tuesday of the following week.
• You order on a Friday. It arrives between the Wednesday and the Monday of the week after.

Bank holidays are not counted as working days, so add one day for each that falls in between.

Costs: €6.35 under €75, free from €75

Free shipping applies to the Netherlands only. Orders from €75 ship free, and orders below that pay €6.35 whichever method you choose. A single FAAN bottle costs between €44.99 and €56.99, so one bottle always pays shipping, and two bottles clear the threshold:

• Amjad Honour alone: €44.99 + €6.35 = €51.34.
• Honour and Amjad Coral together: €89.98, shipped free. You save the €6.35.
• Qasida Signature alone: €54.99 + €6.35 = €61.34.

Home delivery or pickup point

The Netherlands has two options at the same price, plus free shipping above the threshold:

Pick home delivery if someone is usually home. Pick a pickup point if you work away from home or want to collect after work. The pickup point option excludes DHL points, so you will not see a DHL point in the list. Because perfume contains alcohol, carriers treat it as a flammable liquid, and transport rules vary by carrier. That is why some options may not be available for every address.

Tracking and what happens at the door

Where the carrier supports it, your dispatch confirmation email contains a tracking link. If you did not get one, or the tracking does not update, email info@faanperfumes.eu with your order number. If you miss the parcel at home, the carrier's own rules apply and the tracking link shows the next step. Sold out when you look? Ask to be notified on the product page.

Returns in short

You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to withdraw, without giving a reason. The bottle must still be sealed, because perfume is applied to the skin. Email us with your order number, then send the bottle back within 14 days. The cost of the return is yours, unless the bottle is defective or we sent the wrong item.
